Alloys of nickel are commercially strengthened pure wrath material. The Nickel 200 plate is made with high concentrations of nickel in its chemical composition. They also comprise of copper, iron, manganese, carbon, silicon, and sulfur. These plates are resistant to corrosion in various environments. The UNS N02200 coil is produced with a density of 8.89 g/cm3. These coils have a melting point in the range of 1435 to 1446 degrees C along with good electric conductivity across all its schedules. The Nickel 200 foil is used to cover tools as they are heated in industrial systems. This protects these tools from carburization and graining. #1–Hot rolled annealed and descaled. It is available in strip, foil and ribbon. It is used for applications where a smooth decorative finish is not required.
#2D–Dull finish produced by cold rolling, annealing and descaling. Used for deep drawn parts and those parts that need to retain lubricants in the forming process.
#2B–Smooth finish produced by cold rolling, annealing and descaling. A light cold rolling pass is added after anneal with polished rolls giving it a brighter finish than 2D.
