Nickle plates are formed by coating a layer of zinc on the metal surface by electroplating or other processes. Nickel 201 Plate is made up of a chemical composition of carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, copper, ferrous, and nickel. These plates show excellent corrosion resistance in oxidizing media as well as neutral environments. They can suffice in temperatures up to 315 degrees C. The Pure Nickel 201 Sheet is designed with excellent mechanical properties. These sheets are very ductile and easy to weld. They don’t suffer from post-weld carburization or graining. The Ni 201 Strip possesses a tensile strength of minimum 462Mpa and yield strength of minimum 148Mpa. They are available in thickness ranging between 0.3mm to 1200mm. The nickel Alloy 201 shim is cut and installed to fill gaps within a system. This enables it to improve the structural integrity of the entire system. These shims are used in the handling of various caustic bases and acids. UNS N02201 coil is used in hazardous conditions where most coils wouldn’t suffice for long periods. #1–Hot rolled annealed and descaled. It is available in strip, foil and ribbon. It is used for applications where a smooth decorative finish is not required.
#2D–Dull finish produced by cold rolling, annealing and descaling. Used for deep drawn parts and those parts that need to retain lubricants in the forming process.
#2B–Smooth finish produced by cold rolling, annealing and descaling. A light cold rolling pass is added after anneal with polished rolls giving it a brighter finish than 2D.
